Choosing the Right Registration Package for Your Business
Which CIPC Partners package fits: SA-citizen, non-SA directors, Premium, or an industry bundle. Live prices stay on the packages page.

Use this page to decide what to buy from us. Live prices and inclusions are on Packages — we do not reprint a price list here, because those numbers change. When you are ready to file, start at Register your company.
CIPC Partners is a private filing company. We prepare and track registrations. We are not the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission and not BizPortal.
A package buys a correctly incorporated company with its tax number and paperwork in order. It does not buy a running business’s compliance for the year.
At a glance
- SA ID directors → Company Registration (SA citizen)
- Any passport-only director → Company Registration (Non-SA citizen)
- Shares and beneficial ownership at incorporation → Premium
- CIDB, CSD, import licence, or an NPC constitution → Industries
- Just comparing rand amounts → Packages

Company Registration (SA citizen)
For a solo founder (or a small board) where every director has a South African ID. The pack is a new Pty: name, CoR14.3, statutory filing work included in our price, and a SARS income tax number. A B-BBEE affidavit is an optional extra, not a verification.
Company Registration (Non-SA citizen)
Same service when a director holds a passport rather than an SA ID. Extra supporting documents apply. The simplified DIY new-Pty path for South African IDs will not process a passport-only director — see foreign nationals.
Company Registration Premium
A new Pty with share certificates and beneficial-ownership filing done with incorporation. Choose this when you want ownership paperwork settled now rather than chasing it before the first annual return.
Industry packs (construction, import/export, NPC-oriented, consulting) live under Industries when extras such as COIDA, CSD, CIDB, or an import licence matter more than the base Pty.
How to read “filing fees included”
That phrase means you pay us one package price and we cover the government filing cost so you are not invoiced twice. It does not mean the Commission stopped charging, and it is not a discount we invented on their tariff.
If a quote from anyone is silent on whether the statutory filing is inside the number, ask before you buy.
Should you buy a package at all?
An honest decision tree:
- Every director has a South African ID, you want a standard Pty, and you have a spare morning to file yourself. You do not need us. File on the official portal if that is the better use of your time.
- Any director holds only a passport. The simplified ID-check path cannot process the application. A package is the shortcut — see foreign nationals.
- You want shares and beneficial ownership settled at incorporation. Premium, so beneficial ownership is done rather than looming before your first annual return.
- You need CIDB, an import licence, CSD, or an NPC constitution. The base Pty is the small part of the job. Start at Industries.
- You just want to compare rand amounts. Go straight to Packages.
We register new companies. We do not sell shelf (already-incorporated) companies. Institutional white-glove support is a separate premium path. For a brand-new trading Pty, the three core packs above cover almost every founder case.
What is genuinely not in any package
- Bank account — the bank’s own KYC, on the bank’s timeline
- Annual returns — an ongoing obligation from your first anniversary; we file these as a separate service
- VAT, PAYE, UIF — triggered by turnover and hiring, not by incorporation
- Sector regulators — CIDB, PSIRA, NHBRC assess you on their own criteria
- Accounting — usually the largest year-one cost, and nobody’s registration fee covers it
